About Our spoon Mould

 

  • Plastic materials for spoon moulds generally include PP PS and biodegradable materials. Due to the different plastic materials, the selection of mold steel materials is also different. Usually, the steel material of knife and fork and spoon mold is selected from quenching materials such as H13, S136, 2344 and 2316.
  • Since the spoon product is a fast-moving consumer product, the mold is generally designed with multiple cavities, and the shape of the mold is designed to be square or round. If the mold is designed in a square shape, a semi-hot runner can be used, and the mold can be made embedded.

1. Design and CAD Modeling

Our designers usually start by creating initial sketches and mold specifications based on the desired spoon design. Our professional design team uses CAD, CAM, CAE design technology to develop a 3D model of the spoon, as well as the dimensions, contours, and features of the mold.

2. Material Selection

Usually, the steel material of knife and fork and spoon mold is selected from quenching materials such as H13, S136, 2344 and 2316.

3. Mold Processing

The processing technology of knife, fork and spoon mold includes high-speed milling, high-speed precision engraving, etc.
We use high-speed milling to quickly and accurately remove material from the mold block. This process allows the creation of complex shapes and detailed features with high precision.

 

The milling process is performed by dedicated CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines equipped with high-speed cutting tools in the factory. These machines can run at very high speeds, greatly reducing processing time and improving surface finish.
